The Nebraska based club will play its 2019 season at Creighton University.

Omaha, NE (April 15, 2019) - Bugeaters FC announced today that it will play its 2019 season matches at Morrison Stadium.  The announcement means that the club will continue to play in a second season.

“Today’s announcement concludes 8 difficult months of a stadium search.  We exhausted all options and without this deal, the 2019 season would not have been possible,” Bugeaters Chairman Jonathan Collura said.  “We are excited to land such a top facility and thankful to Creighton and the team that they have.  Without Coaches Johnny Torres, Ross Paule and Athletics Facilities Director Brandon McCarville, this would not have been possible.”

The club played its 2018 season matches in multiple venues in Bellevue, Lincoln and Omaha and involved its supporters, The Field Hands, in its stadium search.

“While we are disappointed with the change of venue, we were glad to be involved and thankful that the club has found a suitable home and lease, allowing it to continue to play,” Field Hands representative Sam Kiddoo said.

Morrison Stadium, located on the campus of Creighton University, is one of the top venues in the nation and is home to the NCAA’s Bluejays programs.

“This stadium has all of the amenities and we are excited to be playing home matches here,” Bugeaters General Manager Jordan Bartels said.  “When you think about quality specific use venues, Morrison Stadium is at the top of that list.”

Bugeaters FC will launch its 2019 season beginning on April 28th when they face Little Rock Rangers in Arkansas.  The home season will begin on May 25th.  The full schedule is due to be announced this week.

Admission this season will be $10 adults and $5 youth. Tickets will be available at the gate.
