Bugeaters FC


We are the BUGEATERS FC, a men's semi-pro soccer team based in Nebraska. Bugeaters FC compete in the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA) at the 4th level of US Soccer.

We are a community based club focusing on the development of both collegiate and local elite athletes.

Local executive joins the club to focus on business and community development.

Omaha, NE (April 26, 2019) - Bugeaters FC announced today that Michael Doria has accepted the position of President of the Nebraska based club.  Doria is well connected in both Omaha and the game and boasts an impressive history on and off of the pitch.  He is currently the Millard West Boys Head Coach and Vice President of the Nebraska State Soccer Board of Directors.  In addition to those duties, Doria is a Member of the US Youth Soccer Governance Committee.

Doria played at Division I University of Evansville prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law.  Recently, he has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Nebraska Omaha in the Real Estate, Banking and Finance Department.

“Michael’s career both in the game and off the pitch is extensive,” Bugeaters Chairman Jonathan Collura said.  “It was an ideal fit with the needs of the club on the business side.  He will add a lot of depth to the team, specifically with his business acumen and unique blend of skills.”

Doria’s day job is as a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo.  He currently manages an extensive book of clients and helps them with complex financial solutions.  Doria joins the Bugeaters team with immediate effect.

“I am excited to be joining a club with such deep local ties,” Doria said.  “The club is seeking to expand in the community.  They have an excellent management team and I am excited to be joining them.”

Doria’s position will focus on expanding the Bugeaters in the community and helping with business solutions within the club.

“Bugeaters is a fantastic story and I’m looking forward to being on the team,” Doria continued.

The Bugeaters home season opens on May 25th when they host Sioux Falls Thunder at Morrison Stadium in Omaha.

Admission this season will be $10 adults and $5 youth. Tickets will be available at the gate.
